YEIDA to move NCLAT, says won’t forgo Rs 1,600 crore extra compensation for farmers
Two days after the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) approved the Suraksha Group’s bid to buy Jaypee Infratech Ltd (JIL), the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) said it will file an appeal in the appellate tribunal against the rejection of their demand for additional compensation – Rs 1,689 crore – to be paid to farmers, but it won’t challenge the resolution plan.
