Former Pb deputy speaker Bir Devinder passes away
Former Punjab assembly deputy speaker and two-time MLA Bir Devinder Singh (73) passed away at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, on Friday following a brief illness. A native of Kotla Bhaika village in Fatehgarh Sahib district, he was staying at his house in Patiala for the past few years.
