At long last, Kannada medium engineering course draws one student
For the first time, a student named Sagar TS has enrolled in a Kannada-medium mechanical engineering programme at Maharaja Institute of Technology, Mysore. The initiative, launched in 2021-22, has struggled to attract students, with around 13,000 CET seats still vacant for English-medium courses. Reservations in state government jobs were suggested to boost interest.
