Bengaluru: Autorickshaw driver dupes differently abled priest of gold jewellery and Rs 20,000
An autorickshaw driver, Haidar, befriended the intellectually disabled son of KV Sudharshan Bhattar, a priest, and tricked him into handing over gold ornaments worth Rs 3 lakh and Rs 20,000 cash. The police have recovered the gold, but Haidar claims to have spent the cash. He has been arrested and is in judicial custody.
