Lisa Ray Escapes City Life For Blissful Retreat in Kashmir, Shares Glimpses Of Her “Morning Rituals”
Lisa Ray has bid a temporary goodbye to the bustling city life and has jetted off to Kashmir. She has been offering sneak peeks from the destination on social media. On Tuesday, the hotel resort Qayaam Gah dropped a video on Instagram where Lisa was seen indulging in a range of “morning rituals”. The clip begins with picturesque views of the rolling hills, lush greenery, clear skies and a rustic hotel setting. Lisa, engaged in meditation, had a scrumptious meal loaded with fruits. “So beautiful,” she says in the video and her smile stands as clear proof of her blissful experience. Multi-coloured flowers, artificial pools and fountains dominate the place with the chirp of birds.
The side note reads, “The morning wind spreads its fresh smell. We must get up and take that in, that wind that lets us live. Breathe before it’s gone. Rumi. Morning rituals at Qayaam Gah. Thank you, Lisa Ray.”
Lisa Ray has been documenting her travel experience on Instagram. Just a day ago, she dropped a carousel of pictures and videos where the actress was seen spending her time on a houseboat. She sipped on the traditional Kashmiri tea Kahwa and enjoyed a qawwali session. “The mood is festive, Diwali is around the corner and all I can think about is Kashmir. There’s a lot of noise right now. Kashmir is not only a perfect escape for an introvert like me from the season’s material and noise stresses but it’s also a region I’ve been yearning to visit for years- after all the mountains ARE my spiritual home. It’s where I go to recharge and to find Soul-utions through what Jane Fonda calls active remembering: time in Soul-itude to reflect on what you’ve lived through: the hard and good times, joys and sorrows,” read a part of her caption.
Here’s another glimpse of Lisa Ray finding pleasure in a houseboat stay at Dal Lake in Srinagar. “It’s very cold but it’s so beautiful,” she says in one of the videos from the album.
Lisa Ray made her foray into Bollywood with the 2001 film Kasoor. She featured in movies like Water, Dobaara and Veerappan.
