A. Vani Prasad, principal secretary of the labour department of Andhra Pradesh, was involved in a road accident on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway while traveling from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. The driver swerved to avoid a vehicle on the wrong side of the road, rear-ending another car and veering off the road. Fortunately, both Vani Prasad and her driver escaped unharmed.
