BJP staged a statewide protest in Karnataka, alleging the Congress government and Waqf minister Zameer Ahmed Khan of marking farmers’ lands as Waqf properties, calling it ‘land jihad’. CM Siddaramaiah ordered the revocation of all notices to farmers and accused BJP of political motives and disrupting harmony. Protests included participation from key BJP leaders across the state.
