175 km new Bengaluru Metro lines to be added by 2026: Karnataka deputy CM DK Shivakumar
Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar announced a 175 km expansion of Bengaluru’s metro network by 2026. The expansion includes a 3 km extension from Nagasandra to Madavara, opening experimentally today. Shivakumar highlighted plans for pedestrian walkways and underpasses to improve connectivity.
