IISc-Bengaluru researchers develop novel language to decode nanopore properties

Scientists at IISc have developed STRONG, a new language system that represents complex nanopore structures as simple character sequences. This innovation allows for the analysis of nanoporous materials using machine learning, similar to how ChatGPT processes text. The system has shown promise in identifying materials for carbon capture and could revolutionize fields from water desalination to DNA sequencing.
