How a 10-month-old baby from Bengaluru beat end-stage heart failure with a rare heart transplant
A 10-month-old baby in Bengaluru, diagnosed with end-stage heart failure, received a life-saving heart transplant. Initially taken for a routine check-up due to a swollen belly, Vrish’s condition was far more serious than his parents anticipated. The successful surgery, performed at Narayana Health City, involved a donated heart from a two-and-a-half-year-old child.
