81-year-old St Ann’s opens its doors to boys for teachers’ training deg

St Ann’s College of Education in Mangaluru will admit male students to its teacher-training undergraduate course from the next academic year. The institution, established in 1943, was previously open only to women and has produced over 5,000 graduates. Mangalore University has already approved the co-ed proposal, with further approvals pending from the collegiate department and centralised admission cell.
