HC: Don’t allow U-16s in cinemas before 11am and after 11pm

Justice B Vijaysen Reddy of the Telangana high court directed that children below 16 years cannot watch movies in theatres between 11am and 11pm. This aims to protect minors from potential physical and mental health impacts. This directive stems from considerations following a prior ban on odd-hour shows after a stampede incident in 2024.
