‘Insulted’ Bengaluru college staffer gets life for killing student, shooting another in 2015

A Bengaluru court has sentenced a college attender, Mahesh K, to life imprisonment for killing student Gowthami and attempting to murder her friend Sirisha in 2015. Mahesh’s motive for the crime was humiliation, as he felt ridiculed by the girls. Forensic evidence and witness testimonies, especially Sirisha’s, were crucial in securing the conviction.
