A 36-year-old man from Hyderabad was trafficked to Myanmar and tortured for refusing to engage in internet fraud. His family sought help from the Union External Affairs Minister. Though he was released and entered Thailand, he was arrested there. The family urges further intervention to repatriate him to India.
