A 13-year-old boy named Shravan from Belthangady allegedly attempted suicide on February 18. His mother, Yashodha, found him unresponsive in the locked bedroom. He was immediately taken to Uppinangady Govt Hospital and then referred to Puttur Govt Hospital, where he was declared dead. The incident has been reported to Punjalakatte Police Station.
