‘Concealed under his shirt’: Day after Ranya Rao arrest, visually impaired man caught for smuggling gold from Dubai at Bengaluru airport

A visually impaired man was arrested at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport for smuggling 3.4 crore worth of gold from Dubai. Customs officials intercepted the passenger, discovering 3,995.22 grams of gold hidden under his shirt. His arrest followed the detention of Kannada actress Ranya Rao, who was found with 14.2 kg of gold valued at Rs 12.56 crore.
