Two men were arrested for the rape of an Israeli tourist and her host, as well as the murder of an Odia tourist near Sanapur Lake, Koppal. The incident occurred on March 6, when the attackers demanded money and escalated to violence after the tourists refused. Another suspect is still absconding.
