Indian-origin NASA astronaut Sunita Williams, who has been on the ISS since June 2024, conducted extensive scientific research, broke the spacewalking record, and contributed to various experiments including plant growth and microbial studies. She is set to return to Earth with fellow astronaut Butch Wilmore and cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov.
