A man from Jayashankar Bhoopalpalli district received a life sentence for killing his brother with a broken beer bottle over a land dispute. The incident occurred in May 2019 when the accused attacked his brother during an election visit. The Bhoopalpalli district court fined the convict 10,000 rupees along with the life imprisonment sentence.
