A six-month-old baby’s fingertip was severed during IV cannula removal at Chinmaya Mission Hospital in Bengaluru. The parents filed a police complaint, leading to an FIR against three hospital staffers. The severed tip has been reattached, with the success of the procedure to be determined in 15 days.
