Telangana Legislative Council election for the Hyderabad Local Authorities’ constituency witnessed a 79% turnout, with 88 out of 112 voters participating. The contest featured BJP’s N Goutham Rao and AIMIM’s Mirza Riyaz Ul Hassan Effendi, while Congress and BRS abstained from fielding candidates. BRS directed its members to boycott the polling, while Congress supported AIMIM to defeat BJP.
