In May alone, about 1 billion dollars, or 8,600 crore rupees worth of iPhones, were sent from India to America. This means Apple is now making iPhones in India exclusively for the American market. From January to May 2025, iPhones worth 4.4 billion dollars (Rs 37 thousand crore) have been exported from India to America. This figure is even higher than the 3.7 billion exports of 2024. Until 2024, 50% of iPhones sold in America were made in India.
