BJP’s Kishore Kumar Puttur has won the Karnataka Legislative Council bye-election from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Local Authorities Constituency with a margin of over 1,600 votes. The election saw a high voter turnout of 97.91%, with Kishore defeating candidates from Congress, SDPI, and an independent contender.
