In the IPL 2026 match against Gujarat Titans (GT), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have reached the score of 99 runs for the loss of three wickets in 10 overs at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala.
Having been put to bat first, RCB`s opening batsman Venkatesh Iyer scored 19 runs in seven balls, including three boundaries and a maximum. Stalwart Virat Kohli missed his well-deserved half-century by just seven runs. Facing 25 balls, he scored 43 runs, with the help of five boundaries and a maximum.
Devdutt Padikkal played a knock of 30 runs off 19 deliveries, which also included five boundaries.
Captain Rajat Patidar and Krunal Pandya are unbeaten at the crease.
Gujarat`s Jason Holder has claimed two wickets. Kagiso Rabada has managed to pick up one wicket. Mohammed Siraj and Rashid Khan will continue the hunt for their first wicket.
Earlier, GT`s skipper Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to bowl first against the Royal Challengers in Dharamshala.
The Titans entered the clash with one change, where Arshad Khan made way for Kulwant Khejroliya.
After winning the toss, GT`s skipper Gill said, “We`re gonna bowl first. It looks like a good wicket, you know, but we have seen and in this ground particularly, there is a bit of dew in the second innings, so it`s always good to have a total on the board and a big win and then try to chase it down. I think, this match is all about taking the equation out of the game. We have been playing some really good cricket and hopefully we`ll continue to do so. I`ve played a lot here in the under 14, under 16 days. I`ve spent quite a bit of time here, so yeah, hopefully it`s gonna be a good use of us. And yes, it is one of the prettiest grounds, in the world. We have one change. Kulwant comes in in place of Arshad Khan”.
