A Hyderabad tech professional, Arun Kumar Tiwari, tragically passed away near Everest’s Hillary Step. His family has opted to leave his body on the mountain due to faith, love for the Himalayas, and the immense cost and risk of recovery from the ‘death zone’. The recovery operation was quoted at nearly a crore rupees.
