Rape accused faking death for a decade held in Telangana after wife tips off cops
A man accused in a 2016 rape case, believed dead for a decade, has been apprehended in Karimnagar. His wife alerted police, fearing for her life. The accused, Mohammed Abdul Wajid alias Dhoom Khalid, had faked his death after escaping custody and allegedly ran an extortion gang in Maharashtra while posing as a beggar.
