Cost-cutting: Air India Express puts Noida airport plans on hold
Noida International Airport (NIA) is set to commence operations next Monday, but will launch with one fewer airline as Air India Express has postponed its flights. IndiGo will be the primary operator, connecting 16 cities, with Akasa Air also commencing services shortly after. This comes as the Tata Group’s budget airline faces mounting losses, impacting its launch plans.
