Itel A100 Pro review:Budget-friendly phone costing ₹8,999 can make calls without signal
Tech brand itel has launched a new budget smartphone ‘itel A100 Pro’ in India. This is an upgraded version of the A100 that came in February this year. The phone comes with a 100-day free screen replacement warranty, which is not available even with many expensive phones. So let’s know what’s special about it… Design: Phone will remain safe even after falling on stone First, let’s talk about its design – at first glance, the phone looks premium. The back panel has texture, which provides a solid grip in hand. The phone is military grade certified, meaning it will remain safe even after falling on stone. Talking about ports and switches, on the right side are the power and volume buttons. On the top, you get an IR blaster, with which you can control your home TV or AC. And yes, for music lovers, there’s also a 3.5mm audio jack available. Display: Scrolling and app opening good with 90Hz refresh rate Talking about its display. Here you get a large 6.6-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen, which comes with a 90Hz refresh rate, which gives a very smooth experience of scrolling and app opening. There’s a waterdrop notch on the front. The bezels are thin from the sides, but slightly wider at the bottom, which is normal in this budget. It also has a dynamic bar like the iPhone. That means whenever you put the phone on charging, receive a call or notification, a pop-up will open near the camera at the top, which looks very cool. Performance: Unisoc T7100 Octa-Core Processor Talking about performance, it has Unisoc’s T7100 octa-core processor. The phone comes in a single variant with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. The company has provided ‘Memory Fusion’ technology in it, with which you can increase its RAM up to 8GB with the help of virtual RAM. The A100 Pro runs on the latest Android 15 Go Edition. Google’s Go apps are very lightweight, so despite having less RAM, the phone doesn’t hang, runs very smoothly, and also saves your battery. For daily use, social media, and normal tasks, its performance is good. The most special feature in the phone is the UltraLink technology. With this feature, you can make calls without signal even when there is no mobile network. Photography: Decent quality in daylight Talking about the camera, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash on the back panel and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. For the budget, this is a basic camera with which you can take decent photos in daylight and video calling will work comfortably. Talking about power backup, the phone has a 5000mAh battery. The box includes a 10W charger. With normal use, this battery easily provides backup for one and a half to two days. Final Verdict: Best for Those Who Want a Strong Phone At a price of ₹8,999, the itel A100 Pro is best for those who need a strong, durable phone without the fear of breaking or damage. Military grade body, free screen replacement and technology that enables calling without signal make it a value-for-money phone in this budget.
