NLSIU students and alumni expressed strong disapproval of BCI chairman Manan Kumar Mishra attending their convocation. They extended solidarity to NALSAR students and faculty regarding the Chief Justice of India’s attendance. The students criticized the BCI’s actions as a witch-hunt and an infringement on free speech. They demanded an apology from the BCI for its conduct towards NALSAR. The community seeks a better Bar Council of India moving forward.
