For 12 remote villages near China border, power is finally in sight

Remote villages in Uttarakhand’s Johar Valley will soon receive grid electricity for the first time. This significant development will benefit approximately 180 seasonal residents and ITBP personnel stationed there. The electrification project, costing Rs 21 crore, spans sixty-one kilometers and includes twelve villages.
