Despite laying down their arms, many surrendered Naxals in Telangana, like Saralamma, face governmental apathy, struggling without agricultural land or proper benefits. Farming being their only skill, they are forced into odd jobs, and bureaucratic hurdles prevent them from receiving promised support or pensions.
