Sanskrit, the mother tongue in this Karnataka home for 37 years

A family in Dakshina Kannada has maintained Sanskrit as their primary language at home. This initiative began in 1989 and now spans three generations of communication. The couple used Sanskrit nameboards to familiarize themselves with household vocabulary. Their son naturally picked up the language, requiring Kannada lessons later. This dedication continues today, keeping the classical language alive.
