‘Suffered from hypertension, diabetes’: Ex-Delhi chief secretary dies by suicide; note says no one responsible
Former Delhi chief secretary Rakesh Mehta was found dead in his Noida flat. He had been living alone and referred to illnesses in a note. Mehta served as chief secretary during the Sheila Dikshit government’s tenure. He was known for his focus on urban governance and public transport initiatives. His final rites were held in Delhi on Monday.
