Self-claimed Maoist accused in bomb blast held after month-long hideout in Karnataka hills
A man claiming to be associated with Maoist activities has been detained following a crude bomb explosion. Known as Kanakalabande Venkatesh, he was captured in the Kadamalakunte Hills area near Pavagada after an extensive manhunt. This operation involved more than 150 police personnel, and an inquiry is now underway regarding his possible involvement in the blast and any links to Maoist groups.
