A rise in school dropouts among child survivors of sexual abuse is concerning in Telangana. Data shows 449 survivors are currently out of school due to various factors like trauma and stigma. The women’s safety wing is collaborating with the education department to facilitate their return to education. Bharosa centres are providing essential counseling and support to help these children reintegrate.
