Bricks tied to waist, hands and legs bound: How sacked guard drowned Hyderabad girl in sump before demanding Rs 20L ransom
Vikram, a former security guard, was arrested for the kidnapping and murder of a five-year-old girl. The child went missing during Bathukamma celebrations before being found in a water sump. Investigators traced ransom calls made to the girl’s family back to Vikram, who was previously terminated from his job. CCTV footage revealed the girl leaving the clubhouse followed by a man.
