Gundla Pravalika succumbed to her injuries ten days after she was pushed off a bus. The fatal incident occurred during an argument over bus fare with B Mounika. Following Pravalika’s death, police changed the charges against Mounika from attempt to murder to murder. The state government expressed condolences and promised support for Pravalika’s family, including a job and insurance.
