RTE refunds: Schools’ body seeks transparent formula
The Karnataka high court has taken a significant step by issuing a notice regarding the reimbursement rates for private schools under the RTE Act. The Associated Managements of Primary and Secondary Schools in Karnataka are voicing concerns, claiming that the existing rates are outdated and do not reflect the rising costs of education. They urge the government to update these rates and disclose accurate spending figures to ensure transparency.
