Rohit Sharma, captain of Indian cricket Test and ODI, announced the birth of his second child, a baby boy, on Instagram on November 16. The cricketer shared a cute post based on the popular American sitcom FRIENDS, and it went viral in no time. Congratulatory messages started pouring in from friends and fans from all corners of the country. Joining the bandwagon is also Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma and KL Rahul’s wife Athiya Shetty. The two actors and cricketer wives shared their heartwarming reactions on the post too.
Both Anushka and Athiya conveyed their love for the cricketer by dropping a bunch of red heart emojis in the comments section of the post.
Rohit and Ritika’s FRIENDS-inspired post featured their animated version sitting on the iconic orange couch with their daughter Samaira, who held a baby boy in her lap. The picture also had the famous purple door framed in yellow, and the text below it said, “FAMILY, the one where we are FOUR.”
The cricketer and his wife shared this beautiful announcement with the caption “15.11.2024,” which is the date of birth of their son.

Anushka Sharma, on the other hand, is in Australia currently with Virat Kohli and their kids Vamika Kohli and Akaay Kohli, as Virat is set to play a test series against Australia, starting November 22 in Perth.
