Jagmohan Singh Kang seeks VP’s intervention to save Panjab University senate

Punjab Congress leader Jagmohan Singh Kang appealed to vice president Jagdeep Dhankhar, who is also the chancellor of Panjab University, to intervene in the controversy over the potential abolition of the university’s senate. Kang, an alumnus and former student council leader, emphasized the senate’s importance as a democratic body integral to the university’s functioning.
