11-year-old girl physically assaulted at Bengaluru’s madrassa

An 11-year-old girl was physically assaulted by a man at a madrassa in Bengaluru’s Hegde Nagar on February 16, as captured on CCTV. The accused, Mohammad Hasan, son of the hostel supervisor, allegedly struck and kicked the girl over a minor incident. Police have filed charges under the Juvenile Justice Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Hasan has been arrested following a complaint by the girl’s mother.
