A 35-year-old man named Bathula Srinivas Rao was arrested by Suryapet police for pretending to be a DSP and cheating people by promising jobs in exchange for money. He collected Rs 36 lakh from a victim and spent half of it on luxuries. Rs 18 lakh, a car, and a police uniform were seized during his arrest.
