The Bengaluru Special Court for Economic Offences has reserved its ruling on actress Ranya Rao’s bail plea in a gold smuggling case. Rao was arrested with 14 kg of gold at Bengaluru’s airport. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence claims proper protocols were followed, despite allegations of mistreatment and legal lapses.
