Team India cricketer, Rinku Singh has been engaged to Samajwadi Party`s Member of Parliament (MP) Priya Saroj, on June 8 in Uttar Pradesh`s Lucknow.
Their wedding is reportedly scheduled to take place in November this year.
Though Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj`s engagement was a private function, photos and videos of the ceremony has gone viral on social media platforms.

According to news reports, several politicians including Samajwadi Party`s chief Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav and Jaya Bachchan were seen attending the event, where the cricketer got engaged to Priya.
Speaking about the event, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice-president, Rajeev Shukla, said, “May both of them enjoy a beautiful life, this is a wonderful match. Each excels in their own field, and together, they will make a strong and successful pair”.

So far, Rinku Singh has represented India in two ODIs and 33 T20Is. Having featured in two ODIs, the left-hander has accumulated 55 runs with an average of 27.50. In the shortest format of the game, he has smashed 546 runs, including three half-centuries. So far, his best score in the T20Is is an unbeaten 69 runs.
Rinku was also a part of Kolkata Knight Riders` squad in the recently concluded IPL 2025. Having featured in 13 matches, the left-hander scored 206 runs with a highest score of an unbeaten 38 runs. Ajinkya Rahane-led KKR finished their IPL 2025 campaign in the eighth place on the points table.
Recently, Team India`s wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav got engaged to his childhood friend, Vanshika, in a private ceremony. Vanshika, who hails from Shyam Nagar in Lucknow, works with LIC, and shares a deep-rooted friendship with Kuldeep that dates back to their early childhood.
Kuldeep`s engagement ceremony was also attended by Rinku Singh and Priya.
