Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah’s meetings with Congress MLAs, intended to address grievances and distribute development grants, have instead amplified the power struggle with Deputy CM DK Shivakumar. Factionalism surfaced as MLAs loyal to both leaders clashed, even in the CM’s presence. Shivakumar, excluded from the meetings, plans a separate session focusing on Bengaluru issues, downplaying any friction.
