Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) launches drive to restore ponds
Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority is actively restoring ponds to recharge groundwater and beautify the area, collaborating with environmentalists and locals. Out of 281 ponds, 194 have been cleaned, with plans to restore the rest after removing encroachments. Despite legal actions and demolitions, some encroachment cases are still pending in courts across three tehsils.
