Puttur MLA Ashok Kumar Rai’s trust is organizing the 13th ‘Ashoka-Janamana’ Deepavali celebration on October 20, expecting one lakh attendees. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the event, which will feature the distribution of household utensils and towels, along with cultural programs and meals for all participants. The celebration aims to be apolitical, honoring societal contributors and holding a Goodudeepa competition.
