Telangana plans de-addiction units in govt med colleges

Telangana’s health department is planning a significant expansion of de-addiction infrastructure to address a surge in substance abuse cases. Ten-bed de-addiction centers will be established in 36 government medical colleges across the state, aiming to decentralize treatment and reduce the burden on the Institute of Mental Health in Erragadda.
