A 27-year-old Bengaluru techie allegedly died by suicide after an astrologer predicted marital discord. Distressed by the prediction, she reportedly hanged herself in her room. Her parents had consulted the astrologer regarding her inter-caste marriage, and a ritual was performed to avert the predicted issues.
