An anonymous email threatening a bomb attack at Bengaluru’s Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) was received on March 5. The message claimed 14 IEDs filled with cyanide gas were planted, warning of a 1.75-km blast radius. Following a thorough search and evacuation, the threat was declared a hoax, and a case under the IT Act has been registered.
